Delete Your PolyTalk Account

You can delete your PolyTalk account directly from PolyTalk. You do not need to contact support or install the Android app to delete your account.

Delete Your Account

On the PolyTalk Web App

1. Sign in to your PolyTalk account.

2. Open Settings.

3. Scroll to the bottom of the Settings page.

4. Select Delete your account.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm.

On the PolyTalk Android App

1. Open the PolyTalk app.

2. Open Settings.

3. Scroll to Privacy & Support.

4. Open Privacy Center.

5. Select Delete Account.

6. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?

Once your account deletion request is confirmed and processed, PolyTalk will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account, subject to information that we are permitted or required to retain.

Depending on how you used PolyTalk, this may include:

• Account information

• Account preferences

• Stored session history

• Transcripts

• Translated text

• Stored audio, where applicable

• Other personal information associated with your account

Certain information may be retained for a limited period where necessary or required for legitimate purposes, including:

• Legal and regulatory compliance

• Billing and accounting

• Fraud prevention

• Security and audit requirements

• Dispute resolution

• Enforcement of agreements

Any information retained for these purposes will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable retention requirements.

Deletion from your account does not necessarily mean that every technical copy is immediately removed from backup, security, or audit systems where retention is required or permitted.

Google Play Subscriptions

Deleting your PolyTalk account does not necessarily cancel an active Google Play subscription.

If you have an active PolyTalk subscription purchased through Google Play, please manage or cancel the subscription separately through Google Play unless PolyTalk explicitly confirms that account deletion also cancels the subscription.
